ABOUT THE FOUNDER

In 2010, as the Great Recession reshaped the real estate landscape, Nathaniel Korn saw an opportunity in Miami’s distressed multifamily market. With a background in business and finance, he recognized that properties were selling well below replacement costs and decided to take action.

That same year, he closed his first deal—a fractured condo project, 14 units across two buildings. With foreclosures at an all-time high and uncertainty everywhere, he focused on understanding the risks, learning from industry professionals, and making calculated moves.

The strategy worked, setting the foundation for what would become a career built on strong execution and disciplined investment.

Over the next few years, Nathaniel expanded into Little Havana, taking advantage of undervalued properties in a market that was slowly recovering. By the mid-2010s, he had built a solid track record in multifamily acquisitions and management, sharpening his expertise across finance, construction, and asset repositioning.

Today, with IMAIM CAPITAL shifting its focus from acquisitions to ground-up development, Nathaniel continues to find inspiration in the new challenges, new opportunities, and new people each project brings. No two days are the same—each one offering something fresh to learn and build upon.

Nathaniel holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder and an MBA in Finance from NOVA Southeastern University.
